"description": "AbuseBox re-checks the IPs and domains an operator runs against 24 DNS blacklists, AbuseIPDB, SSL and domain expiry, SPF/DKIM/DMARC and uptime, and alerts by email, Slack, Discord or webhook when something changes. It is honest about blacklists: every list is verified against its RFC 5782 test addresses on each check, so a list that refuses to answer (Spamhaus does this for Google and Cloudflare DNS) shows as 'No answer' instead of a false 'clean', and every listing is decoded into its meaning and a severity. Hosted monitoring tools charge per IP for this; AbuseBox is MIT licensed, runs with Docker Compose on amd64 and arm64, and keeps the asset list and results on the operator's own server. Version 2 extends it from single mail servers to the small ISPs, hosting providers and network operators who handle abuse for whole address ranges, so they can find and clean up compromised customers before their space is blacklisted.",

Each milestone ships as a tagged release with docs and tests.",
